At the request of local parents, Zen Kitchen began our Zen Kids Portland program in the fall of 2004. Through Zen Kids Portland, we offer a nutritious, all natural and organic lunch program to local private schools, providing students, parents and faculty the opportunity to make healthier decisions. We look forward to expanding our program throughout the Metro Portland area.

We currently offer a five-day hot lunch program. Meals provided are kid-friendly with recognizable with local, organic and natural ingredients. Each meal includes well-balanced, nutritional items, such as Vegetable Lasagna, Spaghetti with Meatballs, Teriyaki Chicken, and Fresh Fruit Cocktail. Our vendors include local farmers and distributors, as well as national producers such as Applegate Farms, Woodstock Farms, Organic Valley, Maranatha, Arrowhead Mills, and others.
